1 bottle contains сefepime 500 mg or 1000 mg (as a sterile mixture of сefepime hydrochloride and L-arginine).



Infections caused by microflora sensitive to the drug:

– respiratory tract infections, including pneumonia, bronchitis;

– infections of the skin and subcutaneous tissue;

– intra-abdominal infections, including peritonitis and biliary tract infections;

– gynecological infections;

– septicemia.

Empiric therapy of patients with neutropenic fever.

Prevention of postoperative complications in intra-abdominal surgery.

Hypersensitivity to сefepime or L-arginine, as well as to antibiotics of the cephalosporin class, penicillins or other β-lactam antibiotics.

Method of application and dose.

The usual dosage for adults is 1 g, which should be administered intravenously or intramuscularly at intervals of 12:00. The usual duration of treatment is 7-10 days. Severe infections may require longer treatment.

However, the dosage and route of administration vary depending on the sensitivity of pathogens, the severity of the infection, and the functional state of the patient’s kidneys. Dosing recommendations for cefepime in adults are shown in the table.

When using lidocaine solution as a solvent for intramuscular use of the drug, it is necessary to take into account the safety information of lidocaine, and make a skin test for its tolerability.


The drug is used for children aged 1 month.
