Children and adolescents weighing ≥ 45 kg:
secondary hyperuricemia of different origin;
urate nephropathy resulting from the treatment of leukemia;
congenital enzymatic insufficiency, in particular Lesch-Nihan syndrome (partial or complete deficiency of hypoxanthine-guanine-phosphoribosyltransferase) and deficiency of adenine phosphoribosyltransferase.
