Pharmacological properties
Nevrolek is a complex of B vitamins for the treatment of neurological diseases. Its action is due to the properties of the vitamins present in its composition: pyridoxine (vitamin B6), thiamine (vitamin B1), cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12). Also contains an anesthetic agent (lidocaine) for painless administration. Thiamine hydrochloride is a water-soluble form of vitamin B1, which takes part in conducting nerve impulses, providing axonal transport, and contributing to the restoration of nerve tissue. In high concentrations, it has an analgesic effect on pain associated with nerve damage. Pyridoxine (B6) is involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, fats. It is necessary for the normal process of hematopoiesis, as well as optimal functioning of the central and peripheral parts of the nervous system. This vitamin ensures normal transmission between synapses, inhibition processes in the central nervous system, participates in the transport of sphingosine – a substance that is part of the nerve sheath, participates in the production of catecholamines (norepinephrine, dopamine, adrenaline). Cyanocobalamin (B12) is the most important factor in hematopoiesis, development of epithelial cells, normal growth, and is involved in the production of nucleotides. This vitamin is essential for the production of myelin, folic acid metabolism.

Nevrolek is appointed:

  • with pain syndrome caused by diseases of the nerves, spine (intercostal neuralgia, lumboischialgia, radicular syndrome, cervicobrachial syndrome, lumbar syndrome and cervical syndrome caused by changes in the spine);
  • with trigeminal neuralgia (trigeminal);
  • in the complex treatment of neurological diseases (for example, polyneuropathy of various origins – toxic, alcoholic, diabetic, etc.);
  • with neuritis of the facial nerve.

  • with allergies to active ingredients;
  • with intolerance to the components of the drug;
  • in severe or acute forms of decompensated heart failure;
  • with violations of the conduction of the heart.

Use in children is not recommended.

Application during pregnancy and lactation
Application not recommended.

Method of administration and dosage
For intramuscular injection. Before the introduction, you need to conduct a skin test.
In the case of severe pain syndrome, treatment begins with intramuscular (deep) injection of 2 ml of the solution daily for 5-10 days with a further transition to taking tablets or more rare injections – 2-3 times / week for 2-3 weeks.

Symptoms of a drug overdose: digestive disturbances (urge to vomit, abdominal pain, stool disorders), dizziness, increased sweating, allergic reactions (itching, redness, edema, urticaria), frequent heartbeat (tachycardia).
Overdose treatment: conventional methods of detoxification (elimination of toxins) are carried out, including the use of a sorbent, gastric lavage.

Side effects
Allergy is possible (anaphylactic shock, shortness of breath, Quincke’s edema, skin reactions in the form of itching, urticaria). In some cases, tachycardia, sweating, acne, sensory neuropathy, cardiac arrhythmia, drop / increase in blood pressure, sleep disturbances, impaired consciousness, hearing impairment, edema may occur.
