A carton box contains 2 blisters of 5 ampoules each. One ampoule contains 8 ml of the drug.

Pharmacological properties
Noradrenalin belongs to a group of drugs that are used to urgently restore blood pressure. This remedy causes narrowing of blood vessels (with the exception of coronary vessels), increases oxygen consumption, which normalizes the contraction of the heart muscle.
After intravenous administration of the solution, the concentration of norepinephrine in the blood plasma reaches its maximum level after 2 to 3 minutes.

The drug Norepinephrine is prescribed and used in acute hypotension for immediate (urgent) restoration of blood pressure (for example, in case of trauma, poisoning, surgery, cardiogenic shock).

The use of the drug is contraindicated in the presence of individual intolerance to the components of this drug, arterial hypotension and childhood. In case of oxygen deficiency (hypoxia), an increased content of carbon dioxide in tissues or blood (hypercapnia), as well as patients taking any sensitizing drugs for the heart, the drug should be used with extreme caution.

Application during pregnancy and lactation
It is possible to use the drug for women, during pregnancy, as well as during lactation, as a last resort, only if the intended benefit to the mother significantly outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or child.

Method of administration and dosage
The drug Noradrenalin is intended for intravenous administration.
The recommended dose is 1-2 ml of a 0.2% solution (2-4 mg of the drug) in 500 ml of a 5% glucose solution. The exact calculation of the dose is made directly by the doctor.
Drug treatment should be continued as long as vasoactive drug support is needed. Throughout therapy with norepinephrine, careful supervision and monitoring of the patient’s condition is required.

In case of an overdose of the drug, the following symptoms may develop: vasoconstriction of the skin, vascular insufficiency, pressure sores, arterial hypertension. If any adverse reactions occur, it is recommended to reduce the dose if possible.

Side effects
The use of the drug can cause tachycardia, arrhythmia, bradycardia, palpitations, acute heart failure, increased contraction of the heart muscle (myocardium), anxiety, insomnia, confusion, psychotic state and anorexia.
