Novoparin solution for injections 80 mg. syringe 0.8 ml. №2

Novoparin is a direct acting anticoagulant (anticoagulant) agent. It is a low molecular weight heparin that inactivates thrombin (factor IIa) and inhibits thrombokinase (factor Xa).

Novoparin composition and release form
Active ingredient: sodium enoxaparin.
Novoparin is produced in the form of a solution (100 mg / ml) for injection in syringes-doses in a dose 80 mg / 0.8 ml.

Pharmacological properties
Novoparin is a direct acting anticoagulant (anticoagulant) agent. It is a low molecular weight heparin that inactivates thrombin (factor IIa) and inhibits thrombokinase (factor Xa).

Novoparin is prescribed:

  • for the treatment of unstable angina, non-Q-myocardial infarction (in combination with acetylsalicylic acid;
  • to prevent venous thrombosis / embolism in the case of decompensation of chronic heart failure (NYHA – III – IV class), acute heart failure, acute respiratory failure, acute severe infections, acute rheumatic diseases in combination with a risk factor for thrombosis;
  • to prevent venous thrombosis / embolism during surgical interventions, especially orthopedic, general surgical operations;
  • for the treatment of acute myocardial infarction with ST elevation in patients receiving medication or planning percutaneous coronary intervention;
  • for the prevention of venous thrombosis / embolism in patients on bed rest;
  • to prevent the formation of blood clots in the circulatory system (extracorporeal) during a hemodialysis session;
  • for the treatment of deep vein thrombosis with / without PE.

  • with intolerance to enoxaparin sodium, heparin, and its derivatives;
  • in conditions accompanied by a high risk of bleeding: severe heparin / enoxaparin-induced thrombocytopenia, cerebral aneurysm, dissecting aortic aneurysm, hemorrhagic stroke, threatened abortion, uncontrolled bleeding.

It is prescribed with caution:

  • with gastric / intestinal ulcer;
  • in violation of hemostasis (hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, hypocoagulation, thrombocytopenia):
  • with severe vasculitis;
  • with uncontrolled arterial hypertension;
  • with recent ischemic stroke;
  • with a recently transferred or planned neurological, ophthalmic surgery;
  • when carrying out epidural, spinal, spinal puncture;
  • with diabetic, hemorrhagic retinopathy;
  • with severe diabetes mellitus;
  • with recent childbirth;
  • with kidney / liver failure;
  • with bacterial endocarditis;
  • with pericarditis, pericardial effusion;
  • with installed intrauterine contraception;
  • when taking medications that affect hemostasis;
  • with severe trauma (especially of the brain), open wounds on vast surfaces.

Application during pregnancy and lactation
Only when necessary.

Method of administration and dosage
The syringe with the medicine is ready to use.
Novoparin solution is injected deeply subcutaneously. Cannot be administered intramuscularly.
The injections are performed alternately into the left / right posterolateral or anterolateral surface of the abdomen.
With a moderate risk of thrombosis / embolism, the recommended dose is 20 mg x1 times / day.
With a high risk of thrombosis / embolism – 40 mg mg x1 times / day. The duration of treatment is 7-10 days.
Treatment is continued as long as the risk of thrombosis / embolism remains.

In case of an overdose, bleeding may develop. In this case, it is necessary to control the number of platelets and other indicators of blood coagulation. The effects of the drug can be neutralized by slowly injecting protamine sulfate intravenously (1 mg of protamine sulfate will neutralize 1 mg of enoxaparin).

Side effects
Possible hyperkalemia, various bleeding, thrombocytopenia, thrombocytosis, eosinophilia, allergies, increased transaminase levels, skin necrosis, small hematomas, the appearance of hard nodules, calcification at the injection site, involuntary erection.

Storage conditions and periods
Novoparin is stored at 15-25 ° C for no more than three years.
