Description

Composition and form of release
Rami Sandoz is produced in the form of flat, capsule-like tablets, with a notch on one side. Tablets 2.5 mg tablets are slightly spotted, light yellow. The main element of the drug is ramipril 2.5 mg. Additional components in the composition of the tablets are designated: microcrystalline cellulose, precipitated silicon dioxide, glycine hydrochloride, iron oxide yellow or red, glycerin dibegenate, corn starch. One blister contains 10 tablets, 3 blisters in a cardboard box.

Pharmacological properties
Rami Sandoz tablets are a drug for the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases, as well as for the treatment of kidney diseases, the drug helps to lower blood pressure and dilate blood vessels.

Indications for use
Rami Sandoz tablets are used and prescribed for the treatment of arterial hypertension, kidney diseases, including severe glomerular diabetic and nondiabetic nephropathy, which are indicated by the presence of microalbuminuria. Also, the drug is used to prevent cardiovascular diseases.

Contraindications
The drug is contraindicated if the patient has the following diseases: liver failure, diabetes mellitus, angioedema, renal stenosis, and also if there is an individual intolerance to the components that make up the drug. Contraindications are also: children’s age up to 18 years, arterial hypotension, hemodynamically unstable state and concomitant treatment with drugs that contain aliskiren and extracorporeal methods, including dialysis or hemofiltration.

Application during pregnancy and lactation
It is prohibited to take the drug during pregnancy and lactation, as well as to women planning pregnancy.

Method of administration and dosage
Rami Sandoz tablets are prescribed and used in hypertension at 2.5 mg per day, gradually doubling every 2-4 weeks to a maximum dose of 10 mg per day. If the pill causes a significant decrease in blood pressure, or if the patient is receiving diuretics, then the suggested starting dose is 1.25 mg. In order to prevent cardiovascular diseases, take 2.5 mg per day, gradually doubling after 1-2 weeks, and then after 2-3 weeks to the maximum dose of 10 mg per day. For kidney disease, 1.25 mg is used at the beginning of treatment, doubling the dose every 2 weeks to a maximum dose of 10 mg.
The dose for each patient is selected individually, depending on what blood pressure and the general condition of the patient. The drug is taken once a day, preferably in the morning, regardless of food intake, without chewing or crushing.

Overdose
In case of an overdose, the following are possible: renal failure, electrolyte imbalance, bradycardia, excessive expansion of peripheral vessels, including arterial hypotension and shock. In case of an overdose, the patient needs to wash out the stomach and take adsorbents to cleanse the body and carry out treatment for symptoms.

Side effects
When taking the drug, side reactions occur in the form of headache, cough, dizziness, bronchitis, shortness of breath, pain and discomfort in the abdomen, sinusitis, indigestion, diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, muscle spasms, myalgia.
A decrease in the level of sodium in the blood, myocardial ischemia, peripheral edema, a feeling of increased heart rate, arrhythmia, tachycardia, eosinophilia, ageusia, visual impairment, vertigo paresthesia, dysgeusia, bronchospasm, nasal congestion, pancreatitis, angioedema, renal dysfunction and gastritis liver, dry mouth, itching, constipation, hyperhidrosis, angioedema of the small intestine, decreased blood pressure, arthralgia.
In very exceptional cases, when using tablets, a decrease in the number of leukocytes, platelets and erythrocytes, tremor, a decrease in hemoglobin level, imbalance, ringing in the ears, conjunctivitis, hearing impairment, glossitis, exfoliative dermatitis, onycholysis, urticaria, vascular stenosis, hypoperfusion, asthenia, cholestatic jaundice, vasculitis, liver cell damage, confusion, nervousness, decreased mood, anxiety, anxiety, sleep disturbances, photosensitivity reactions.

Storage conditions and periods
Storage conditions for Rami Sandoz: original packaging, temperature not exceeding + 25 degrees Celsius, inaccessible to children. The shelf life is no more than 2 years.
