Composition Relaxil 
Active ingredients: valerian 0.8%, hydroalcoholic dry extract, dry peppermint extract, dry lemon balm extract.

Release form
The capsules are hard.

Pharmacological properties
It is a herbal pharmaceutical product with a mild sedative effect. The drug eliminates transient nervous tension, is used as a daily sedative for irritability, agitation, mental stress.
The remedy has a positive effect on anxiety, tension, excitement due to nervous overload. For insomnia, its use promotes faster falling asleep. It also has an antispasmodic effect.
This pharmaceutical preparation is used for neuroses, when the appointment of strong sedative drugs is impractical.

Relaxil is used for neuroses, which are accompanied by the following manifestations:

  • anxiety;
  • nervous excitement;
  • sleep disorders;
  • stress caused by a stressful situation.

Relaxil is not used in case of hypersensitivity to it, bronchial asthma, severe arterial hypotension, depression, or other conditions that are accompanied by depression of the brain.
It also does not apply to children under twelve years of age.

Application during pregnancy and lactation
It is not recommended to use the pharmaceutical drug Relaxil during the above periods.

Method of administration and dosage
Capsules must be swallowed whole, taken regardless of food, washed down with water.
In case of an agitated state, mental stress or irritability, use two Relaxil capsules twice a day. For sleep disorders, take two Relaxil capsules one hour before bedtime.
The effect of this pharmaceutical agent appears gradually. To obtain the optimal therapeutic effect, it is recommended to receive Relaxil for at least two weeks.
The duration of the course of therapy is determined by the attending physician. Even with prolonged use of this pharmaceutical agent, addiction is not observed, and after the termination of its use, the withdrawal syndrome does not develop.

Relaxil overdose symptoms include fatigue, chest tightness, abdominal cramps, headaches, dizziness, mydriasis (dilated pupils), hand tremors, drowsiness, general weakness, nausea, lethargy, abdominal pain, decreased visual acuity and hearing , decreased concentration, tachycardia / bradycardia.
Treatment in case of an overdose with the drug Relaxil provides for the patient to perform gastric lavage, the administration of enterosorbents, and symptomatic therapy.

Side effects
Side effects that can be observed during the course of therapy with the pharmaceutical drug Relaxil include nausea, heartburn, abdominal cramps, and allergic reactions.
Very rarely, weakness, drowsiness, dizziness, deterioration of mood, depression of emotional reactions, decreased performance, depression are noted.
Hypersensitivity reactions are also possible (skin rashes, swelling of the skin, itching, urticaria, hyperemia (redness) of the skin).
