Pharmacological properties
Remaxol is a balanced infusion solution that has a hepatoprotective effect. Under the action of the drug accelerates the transition from anaerobic to aerobic processes, improves the energy supply of hepatocytes, increases the synthesis of macroergs, increases the resistance of hepatocyte membranes to lipid peroxidation, restores the activity of antioxidant enzymes.

The effect of the drug Remaxol:

  • reduces cytolysis, which is manifested in the reduction of indicator enzymes: aspartate aminotransferases, alanine aminotransferases;
  • helps reduce bilirubin and its fractions, improves the excretion of direct bilirubin in bile. Reduces the activity of excretory enzymes of hepatocytes – alkaline phosphatase and gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase, promotes the oxidation of cholesterol to bile acids;
  • does not inhibit cytochromes responsible for drug metabolism (CYP 1A2, CYP 3A4, CYP 2C9, CYP 2C19, CYP 2D6);
  • does not cancel the antitumor effect of cytostatics (platinum drugs, antimetabolites, alkaloids), does not increase their toxic effect on the body, does not stimulate tumor growth.
