Composition and form of release Reparil gel-H 

The main active ingredients are escin, diethylamine salicylate. Auxiliary components are: macrogol glycerylcaprylocaprate, disodium edetate, trometamol, carbomers, isopropyl alcohol, purified water, lavender oil, neroli oil.

Release form
It is produced in the form of a gel, packaged in tubes with a volume of 40 grams. 10 grams of gel contains 100 mg of escin, 500 mg of diethylamine salicylate, 50 IU of heparin.

This drug belongs to the group of angioprotectors, capillary stabilizing agents, which are used to treat injuries of the lower extremities, varicose veins.
The mechanism of action of the drug is due to the properties of its main active ingredients.
The drug has the ability to reduce swelling, suppressing inflammation, protecting the venous vessels. Able to regulate the permeability of the membranes of small blood vessels – capillaries, as well as to seal their endothelium.
This drug can also be used as an adjunct therapy in order to relieve other undesirable symptoms, in particular, pain and heaviness in the legs, itching of the skin, swelling of the legs, tonic cramps in the muscles of the calves, which is a symptom of circulatory disorders of the lower extremities.
Escin is a saponin obtained from the fruit of the horse chestnut. It has anti-edematous and anti-inflammatory effects, helping to normalize the tone of the walls of blood vessels.
When diethylamine is applied topically, salicylate has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.
In general, the drug does not penetrate deep tissues, does not enter the systemic circulation.

Indications Reparil gel-H
This drug is intended for topical use in various diseases. In particular, when:

  • sprains and closed injuries;
  • local inflammatory processes, including those accompanied by edema;
  • phlebitis of the lower extremities, including after intravenous injections, infusions;
  • postoperative and post-traumatic hematomas and edema;
  • back pain, which are accompanied by symptoms of pressure on the roots of the spinal nerves (osteochondrosis, lumbago, sciatica);
  • chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins.

Not applicable if the patient has hypersensitivity (allergy) to one of the components that make up the drug.
Application to mucous membranes, open wounds is contraindicated. It is strictly forbidden to apply to necrotic tissue, as well as to areas of the skin that have been exposed to radiation.
Use in pediatrics is contraindicated, under the age of 12 years.

Application during pregnancy and lactation
It is not used to treat pregnant women, especially in the first trimester it is unsafe.
If there is a need to take this drug, then during treatment, lactation (breastfeeding) should be suspended.

Method of administration and dosage
This drug Reparil-Gel N is applied to the skin, covering it with a thin layer, rubbing with light massage movements in the area of ​​the affected area.
It is preferable to make massage movements for better penetration of the drug into the skin.
The duration of the course of treatment is prescribed by the attending physician, depending on the intensity of the disease, the effect produced by the drug.

Overdose cases have not been recorded at the moment.

Side effects
After taking this drug, you may experience side effects, allergic in nature, such as:

  • itching;
  • hives;
  • dermatitis;
  • feeling of heat, rush of blood at the site of application, redness of the skin.

These symptoms are short-lived, disappear after a short time, and do not require special treatment.

Storage conditions and periods
The shelf life of the drug is no more than 5 years for aluminum tubes and 3 years for laminated tubes.
This medicinal product should be stored in a dry place out of the reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
