Composition and form of release
The active ingredient is oxymetazoline.
Release form – nasal spray 0.05%.
Decongensant (local vasoconstrictor). It narrows the vessels at the site of application, eliminates swelling of the nasal mucosa, as well as the upper respiratory tract, and helps to reduce nasal discharge. It also helps to restore nasal breathing and aeration of the middle ear cavity, paranasal sinuses, thereby preventing the occurrence of bacterial complications (sinusitis, sinusitis, otitis media).
In addition, it has anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antioxidant and immunomodulatory effects.

Rinazolin should not be used simultaneously with monoamine oxidase inhibitors and within two weeks after the end of their use.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
During the indicated periods, Rinazolin is used with extreme caution. Do not exceed the recommended doses.
Method of administration and dosage
Before using this pharmaceutical product, you should clean your nose.
In infants under four weeks of age, one drop of 0.01% Rinazoline solution is applied in each nostril two to three times / day. For infants aged five weeks to one year, one or two drops of this drug are used in each nostril two to three times a day.
Children from one to six years old apply one or two drops of 0.025% solution of Rinazolin in each nostril two to three times / day.
Adults and children over six years old apply a 0.05% solution, one to two drops, or spray, one injection into each nostril two to three times / day.
Rinazoline can be used for no longer than seven days. Its reuse is allowed only after a few days.
Abuse of this pharmaceutical agent leads to atrophy of the nasal mucosa and medication rhinitis.
After a significant overdose of Rinazolin or its accidental ingestion, symptoms such as cyanosis (cyanosis), mydriasis (dilated pupils) or miosis (narrowing of the pupils), nausea, drowsiness, fever, fever, agitation, vomiting, tachycardia, pallor, arterial hyper- / hypotension, spasms, arrhythmia, pulmonary edema, hyperhidrosis (increased sweating), respiratory distress, mental disorders, convulsions. Also possible are cardiovascular failure, apnea (respiratory arrest), coma, cardiac arrest.
In case of an overdose with Rinazolin, gastric lavage, the use of enterosorbents, symptomatic and supportive therapy are indicated. If necessary, artificial lung ventilation, anticonvulsant therapy is performed.
Side effects due to the use of Rinazolin include nasal discomfort, headache, nosebleeds, drowsiness, sneezing, dryness or burning of the nasal mucosa, convulsions, fatigue, arterial hypertension, tachycardia.
It is also possible to develop allergic reactions (including angioedema).
When the effect of using Rinazolin ends, you may experience a feeling of severe nasal congestion.
Storage conditions and periods
Rinazolin should be stored in places protected from light at temperatures below + 25 ° C.
The shelf life is three years.
