Description

Composition and form of release
Main active ingredient: chamomile flowers.
It is produced in the form of cut vegetable raw materials, in packs in filter bags for brewing, 1.5 grams each.

Pharmacological properties
This drug belongs to the group of herbal medicines, the basis of which is the natural raw material of medicinal chamomile flowers, which are used in the treatment of the digestive tract and to normalize metabolic processes.
The main active ingredient is the crushed chamomile flowers. Chamomile flowers are collected in ecologically clean places and checked for contamination. Chamomile flowers contain beneficial trace elements such as the essential oil “chamomile azulene” (chamazulene).
Flower baskets also contain apigenin, luteolin, quercetin, coumarin, polyins, and organic acids (including isovaleric, salicylic, antemisic, caprylic).
Among others, chamomile contains phytosterols, polysaccharides, tannins, proteins, hicosides, flavonoids, alkaloids, as well as trace elements such as calcium, potassium, chlorine, magnesium, phosphorus and sulfur, and other substances.
These and other useful biological active components included in chamomile flowers produce analgesic, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory effects. Chamomile also has an antiseptic, diaphoretic, choleretic effect.
It has the ability to reduce allergic reactions, activate regeneration processes, and enhance secretion in the digestive glands in the gastrointestinal tract.
Able to stimulate appetite, eliminate intestinal spasms, and reduce fermentation activity.

Indications
This drug is used in the treatment of certain diseases of the digestive tract.
In particular, for treatment:

  • gastritis;
  • inflammatory diseases of the liver and gallbladder;
  • enterocolitis, flatulence.

Also used for colds and in dentistry, including diseases of the mouth and throat, as a gargle.

Contraindications
The drug in question is contraindicated for use in cases where the patient has severe hypersensitivity (allergy) to the main or to one of the auxiliary components.
In pediatrics, it can be used from 6 months of age.

Application during pregnancy and lactation
This drug is contraindicated in the treatment of pregnant women and women during lactation.

Method of administration and dosage
The dosage, regimens and duration of treatment are determined by the attending physician on an individual basis, depending on the nature and course of the disease.
It is taken orally in the form of a warm broth.
For cooking, take 3 tablespoons or 2 filter bags of crushed flowers. Pour a glass of boiled water (200 ml) at room temperature, close the lid. Insist in a boiling water bath for 15-20 minutes, cool for 45 minutes, drain.
Application – 3 times a day, after eating:

  • adults and children over 14 years old – ⅓ glass each;
  • children 12-14 years old – ¼ glass each;
  • 7-12 years old – 2 tablespoons;
  • 3-7 years old – 1 tablespoon each;
  • 1-3 years old – 1 dessert spoon each;
  • 6 months-1 year – ½-1 teaspoon.

Outwardly, use the infusion for rinsing 3-4 times a day. Shake the infusion before use.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage during therapy.
The duration of treatment, the exact dosage, schemes and duration of treatment are determined by the attending physician on an individual basis, depending on the individual indicators of the course of the disease.

Overdose
Overdose of side effects in the form of intoxication did not show.

With a significant overdose, side effects may increase.
Treatment is symptomatic.

Side effects
The drug is usually well tolerated. In cases of hypersensitivity, reactions are possible such as:

  • nausea, vomiting, diarrhea;
  • rash, dermatitis, allergic urticaria.

Storage conditions and periods
Expiration date – 1.5 years from the production date indicated on the package.
The storage temperature should not exceed 25 ° C.
