Papain is an enzyme from the catalase class, which is similar in its action to gastric juice; isolated in crystalline form from the sap of a melon tree – papaya (Crica papaya). But unlike pepsin, papain is active not only in acidic, but also in netral and alkaline environments. It catalyzes the hydrolysis of proteins, peptides and amides and esters, and is particularly effective at breaking down meat proteins. Sanzim 2000 is a unique multi-enzyme complex obtained in Japan by fermentation of the fungus Aspergillus oryzae, which has no analogues and consists of more than 30 different enzymes: protease, amylase, lipase, cellulase, ribonuclease, pectinase, phosphatase, trypsinogen-activating and other enzymes.
Due to this composition, Sanzym-2000 promotes the hydrolysis of almost all components of the chyme, including proteins, fats, carbohydrates and polysaccharides.

- children from 1 to 7 years old – 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day during or immediately after meals;
- children from 7 to 14 years old – 2 teaspoons (10 ml) 3 times a day during or immediately after meals;
- children over 14 years old and adults 1 tablespoon (15 ml) 3 times a day during or immediately after meals.
