Composition and form of release
The main active ingredient of the drug is lipase.
The auxiliary substances are: sugar, lactose monohydrate, povidone, stearic acid, methylcellulose, methacrylate copolymer type C, talc, titanium dioxide, triethyl citrate, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide, sodium bicarbonate, sodium lauryl sulfate, quinoline yellow, iron yellow.
It is produced in the form of enteric tablets, each of which contains 20,000 IU of lipase (microbial origin).
This drug belongs to a group of enzyme preparations designed to improve the functioning of the digestive tract and metabolism.
Lipase, which is the main active ingredient of the drug, helps to normalize the metabolism (metabolism). It hydrolyzes vegetable and animal fats, converting them into glycerin and fatty acids. The consequence of this process is a more complete absorption of nutrients from food entering the small intestine.
When used in recommended doses, it does not affect the ability of the digestive tract to evacuate its contents.
Promotes replenishment of pancreatic lipase deficiency.
It causes a decrease or disappearance of abdominal pain, flatulence also decreases, and upset stool is eliminated.
Helps improve the functioning of the pancreas.
This drug is used to treat:
- chronic pancreatitis with impaired exocrine pancreatic function and decreased pancreatic lipase activity;
- digestive disorders occurring against the background of a decrease in the exocrine function of the pancreas.
Also used after eating fatty foods that are difficult to digest.
Not applicable if the patient has hypersensitivity (allergy) to one of the components that make up the drug.
In addition, the use of this drug is contraindicated in acute pancreatitis, lactose intolerance.
Diabetic patients should monitor their blood sugar levels during treatment.
It is not used in pediatrics.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
It is not used to treat pregnant women.
If there is a need to take this drug, then during treatment, lactation (breastfeeding) should be suspended.
Method of administration and dosage
The tablets are taken orally during or immediately after meals. Swallow the tablets whole, without chewing, with a small amount of liquid.
The doctor determines the dosage and duration of use of this drug individually for each patient, depending on the nature and course of the disease, the functional state of the pancreas, the degree of indigestion and food composition.
A single therapeutic dose for pancreatitis is 1 or 2 tablets (20,000 – 40,000 IU). Apply 3-4 times a day. The daily dose of the drug is 120,000 – 160,000 IU (6 – 8 tablets). The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets. The duration of the course of treatment is from 2 to 4 weeks.
Elderly patients, as well as patients suffering from hepatic and / or renal insufficiency, do not need dose adjustment.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Overdose has not been observed at the moment.
In case of overdose, theoretically, an increase in side effects may be observed.
It is necessary to wash the stomach, take sorbents, establish monitoring of the patient’s condition, and, if necessary, carry out a complex of standard supportive symptomatic therapy.
When using this drug, there may be an adverse reaction in the form of nausea and diarrheal syndrome.
If an allergic reaction occurs to one of the components of the drug, a reaction in the form of itching and urticaria may occur.

Storage conditions and periods
The shelf life of the drug is no more than 2 years from the production date indicated on the package.
Store in a dry place out of the reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
