Capsules. Each capsule contains 325 mg of paracetamol, 200 mg of ibuprofen, 30 mg of caffeine.
The drug is sold in 6 capsules in blisters, placed in cardboard boxes of 1 and 5 blisters.
Combined drug, the action of which is due to the effects of its main components.
Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal analgesic anti-inflammatory agent, the effect of which is based on slowing down the synthesis of prostaglandins. The substance inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins in tissues by inhibiting the activity of cyclooxygenase, which stimulates the production of prostaglandins from arachidonic acid.
The mechanism of action of paracetamol has not been studied enough, but there is evidence that allows us to conclude that it has an analgesic effect on the central nervous system. In addition, biochemical studies indicate that it inhibits the activity of cyclooxygenase in the central nervous system. It was also found that it stimulates the descending pathways of activation of 5-hydroxytryptamine, which helps to inhibit the transmission of pain impulses in the spinal cord.
Caffeine significantly enhances the analgesic effect of paracetamol and ibuprofen, improves performance, reduces fatigue and drowsiness. Under the influence of caffeine, diuresis is slightly increased, which provides the drug with a moderate decongestant effect.
Tetramol is used for the symptomatic treatment of pain of various origins. It is used to relieve menstrual pain, headache, migraine attacks, back pain, toothache, neuralgia, muscle pain, rheumatic pain, and pain associated with mild arthritis.
The drug is used in the complex treatment of postoperative pain, as well as to relieve the severity of symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

In addition, the drug is not prescribed to patients who suffer from hypersensitivity to paracetamol and caffeine.
Tetramol cannot be prescribed to patients who have ulcerative lesions of the intestine or stomach in the acute phase, as well as previously identified bleeding from the upper digestive system, or have acute renal, hepatic or heart failure.
