Pharmacological properties

This pharmaceutical refers Triacutan ointment to a combination of corticosteroids and antibacterial drugs that are intended for use in dermatology.
In particular, betamethasone has a high glucocorticosteroid activity, and at the same time, a minimal mineralocorticoid effect. Produces anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictor effects.
Clotrimazole is effective in the fight against diseases caused by fungi of the genus “Candida”.
The antibiotic gentamicin has a broad spectrum of action due to its ability to inhibit 30S ribosomal subunits. In vitro tests have shown that the drug is highly effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, as well as indole-positive and indolegative bacteria.
Gentamicin is commonly used as the primary treatment for severe suppurative infections caused by gram-negative bacteria.
Since the drug is effective against a wide range of pathogenic flora, it can be used to treat diseases caused by various pathogens (mixed infection). If the pathogen is not identified, gentamicin is preferable to use, using it in combination with semi-synthetic penicillins, in particular, with such as ampicillin, carbenicillin.
