Method of administration and dosage
Ugresol is applied topically (applied to the skin).
For sensitive skin, it is recommended to apply the lotion with caution during the first two weeks (to prevent flaking, redness).
The first week, the drug is used once a day, then (in the absence of side effects) – twice a day.
The drug is applied to washed, dried skin with fingertips, gently rubbing until completely absorbed. The standard course of treatment should not exceed two months.
Do not allow the lotion to get into your eyes, mouth, or lips.
To prevent possible hypersensitivity reactions, a trial application of the lotion should be carried out on a small surface of the skin on the inner side of the hand above the wrist and observed for 48 hours. If edema, itching, severe hyperemia appear in this place, it is not recommended to use this drug.
After applying the lotion, a moderate burning sensation, tingling sensation, and peeling may occur. With further use, peeling, redness, as a rule, decreases. With a pronounced reaction, it is required to reduce the frequency of applications and the amount of applied lotion. If the reactions persist, see a doctor.
It is allowed to change the color of the skin areas on which the preparation was applied to a lighter color.
In case of an overdose, moderate local redness and flaking may appear. After discontinuation of the drug, these reactions disappear.
In case of an overdose, it is recommended to remove the lotion from the affected area with a cotton or gauze swab dipped in vegetable oil. In case of severe reactions, it is possible to use local agents containing corticosteroids (as prescribed by the attending physician).
An excessive amount of applied lotion, prolonged use of the drug, can lead to the appearance of systemic effects. In this case, you should consult a doctor.
If the ointment is accidentally swallowed, it is recommended to rinse the stomach, conduct symptomatic treatment.
