Uronefron is used in complex therapy for infectious and bacterial diseases of the urinary system, such as: acute and chronic cystitis; acute and chronic pyelonephritis; chronic urethritis; chronic prostatitis. It is also used to treat urolithiasis, including after surgical removal of urinary calculi.
Composition and form of release
Uronephron is made in the form of a gel, which is contained in tubes of 100 g.
100 g of gel contains Allium Cera L., Rhizoma Agropyri, Betulae folium, Foen and graeci semen, Radix Petroselini, Solidaginis herba, Equiseti herba, Polygoni avicularis herba, Radix Levistici.
Uronephron is a combined preparation made on the basis of herbal ingredients and has anti-inflammatory, diuretic, antispasmodic and antimicrobial effects. The diuretic effect of the drug is due to the presence in its composition of flavone derivatives, saponins, inositol and silicates, which can enhance the excretion of uric acid in the presence of urate deposits in the kidneys. The drug inhibits the crystallization of mineral components in the lumen of the urinary tract, and also has a positive effect on maintaining the balance between colloids and crystalloids of urine. Taking the drug helps to wash out sand and small stones from the kidneys and bladder, and also prevents further enlargement or the appearance of new stones.
Uronephron is used in the complex treatment of inflammatory and infectious diseases of the urinary system, such as acute and chronic cystitis, pyelonephritis, urethritis and prostatitis.
It is also used in the treatment and prevention of urolithiasis.
It is not prescribed to persons with a previously established intolerance to the ingredients of the drug, patients with acute glomerulonephritis, acute interstitial nephritis, nephrosis, phosphate lithiasis.
The drug is not prescribed for conditions in which reduced fluid intake, increased blood clotting and urinary tract obstruction are recommended.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
Uronephron is not prescribed for women at the stage of breastfeeding and pregnancy.
Method of administration and dosage
The use of the drug for medicinal purposes is possible only after medical advice.
Adult patients take the gel after meals 3 to 4 times a day. Before swallowing the gel, dissolve 5 ml of the gel in 100 ml of warm boiled water.
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor. On average, the duration of treatment can vary from 2 to 6 weeks. By the decision of the doctor, it is possible to extend the treatment course until the required therapeutic effect is obtained.
In acute overdose of Uronephron in patients, there is an increased formation of side effects. To stabilize the condition, the patient is prescribed symptomatic treatment.
In most cases, patients tolerate Uronephron treatment well, however, some patients may experience the development of local allergic reactions, hypersensitivity to ultraviolet light, gastrointestinal disorders, taste disturbances, renal colic and dizziness.
Storage conditions and periods
Uronephron should be stored in its original packaging in places that are out of the reach of children and protected from light. Duration of storage is 3 years.
